Annie Heffernan was co-runner of the year in DI as she won the DI Regional race at Troy but couldn't run at the state meet due to injury.  She also won  the prestigious Trinity/Valkyrie Invitational in a meet record time of 17:35.90 smashing the existing course record of 17:46.06,
