About the Meet:
On September 13, Milford will host its high school and junior high cross country meets at the Valley View Campus located behind Pattison Elementary in Milford. Valley View is a 130 acre nature preserve that features a wide mowed trail that follows a pancake flat course. A short, wooded trail and a sprint past a barn built before 1900 add to the scenic nature of this course. The JH course follows the high school course for the first 1.5 miles, then cuts off for an exact 2 mile finish. The races start on the half hour, and there is plenty of parking and ample room to watch the races. The ECC holds its conference championship meet at this site as well. In addition, teams are invited to come and train on the course, with its many miles of other trails at any point during the season.
